The work included repairing balcony slabs for thirteen Enlisted Barracks. Repairs consisted of repairing concrete spalling at the face, drip edges and underside of each slab; repairing cracked patches; repairing transverse rebar showing through the underside of concrete slabs; repairing new patch areas; repairing exposed rebar; repairing outrigger beams; repairing temporary lift eyes on the balcony slabs; demo and reinstalling existing construction joints at the perimeter of the buildings; selective handrail removal, modifications to the sleeve, handrail, and reinstallation of the handrails, and removal of existing longitudinal rebar located at the drip edges and installing new rebar and splicing the new longitudinal rebar to the existing transverse rebar.
