Complete demolition of several buildings and connecting wall openings; the construction of a brick block and steel structure on a structural slab and auger piles with standing seam roof, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection systems, asbestos and lead abatement, designated finishes and accoutrements to create a state of the art physical fitness center located aboard MCB Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. This project was started in January of 2003 and completed December 2004.
